A silky smooth player in clean condition for its age, featuring a trio of "Kleenex Box" single coils. Fully inspected & professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition considering it's over six decades old - various tiny nicks, dents & dings along with mild surface scratches, but really great shape for the most part.
Neck: V-shaped maple neck with cream binding. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl triangle inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is mostly straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with single F-hole. There's some lovely flame figuring in the top & back of the body. Dual Florentine cutaways with 4-ply top binding & single-ply back binding. Trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge & tortoise plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2.9 oz.
Electronics: Three "Kleenex Box" single coils with 4-way selector switch. The neck pickup is out of phase with the others. The middle & bridge are in phase with each other. Volume & tone controls for each pickup with clear "top hat" reflector knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original two-tone chipboard case included.
