A lovely sounding jazz box featuring a pair of humbuckers & a silky smooth neck. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds great.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall - various surface scratches, some tarnish on the gold hardware & discoloration in the body binding around the cutaway. There's also some binding shrinkage in the waist of the body.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl split block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Mother of pearl headstock inlays & gold diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. There's some pretty bird's eye figuring in the top & flame figuring in the rims. Pro II trapeze tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge on a floating rosewood base. 5-ply black pickguard with H.E. initials. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual AL-II humbuckers with 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
