Description
Condition: This bass has a very unique sound that is highly usable and a great overall feel. There is one finish crack on the top that only goes through the first layer of wood. There are various surface scratches and a few tiny nicks and dings throughout the instrument but it is in great overall shape! Fingerboard and frets have very light play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is very straight with low, comfortable action and the truss rod functions fine. The bridge pickups ohm reading is a bit low and the sound is slightly thin. The bridge pickup may require being rewound. Neck pickup functions great. All electronics and parts are otherwise original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound violin shaped hollow body with spruce top and maple back and sides with exquisite birdseye figuring! Nickel trapeze tailpiece, height-adjustable rosewood bridge with nickel saddles, dual skirted control knobs with silver inserts, dual F-holes and a pickguard with a thumbrest and Eko logo.
Neck: Very slender, nicely rounded maple neck with bound Ebony fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, a zero fret and a 1 9/16” nut. Open-gear nickel tuners, 30” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 40.08K Ohms.
Bridge: 39.3K Ohms.
Weight: 5lbs, 14.0oz.
