Description
Made for only a brief moment in the late '60s, this Italian beauty features a hollow maple body speckled with lots of gorgeous bird's eye figuring under a Walnut finish. The neck is silky smooth & super comfortable to play anywhere on the fretboard. The dual single coils sound marvelous & deliver rich, robust & shimmering tones. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall for a guitar that's well over 50 years old with some typical play wear - various surface scratches, nicks, dents & dings along with some weather checking in the finish. The three screws in between the pickups are not original.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with some light flame figuring & center strip. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays. Frets are in great shape & have been dressed. Open-gear tuners with white square buttons. 1 3/4" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions properly.
Body: Bird's eye-figured hollow maple body in Walnut finish. Florentine cutaway & bound F-holes. Checkered-bound top & back with black plexi pickguard. Tremolo tailpiece with unoriginal Strat-style trem arm that works well. Six-saddle adjustable bridge with original cover on a floating rosewood base. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual single coils each with its own on/off switch. Master volume & tone controls. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Yamaha hardshell case included.
