Description
100% original & in great shape for being over 50 years old. The Royal Olive finish is such a cool color & shows off the maple's natural grain. Beautiful acoustic tone with a warm, rich resonance. Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, typical of its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear, mostly along the sides of the body & back of the neck. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl oval inlays. Frets are in great shape with just a little wear & plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with Florentine cutaway & dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge on a floating rosewood base. Nickel hardware & pickguard is missing. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 0.3 oz.
Pickup: Mini humbucker with black bezel & nickel cover - 7.47K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Newer Epiphone hardshell case included.
