Description
What makes this guitar special: A spectacular Coronado XII in an ultra cool Wildwood finish. This amazing guitar was recently acquired as part of a three-piece collection of Fender Wildwoods, including a Coronado II guitar & bass. This one has been fully inspected & set up so it plays like charm & rings like a bell.
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition & in really great shape for being 50 years old. Some minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. Overall the guitar is really clean & looks marvelous.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show just a tiny bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Grover Pat Pend tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow beech body with bound F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with adjustable bridge & six double-notched "barrel" saddles. 3-ply white pickguard with Wildwood II engraving. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 10.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual De Armond single coils. Bridge - 7.14K ohms; Neck - 7.04K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
