Description
A wonderful player's grade Jazz Bass with superb tone & playability. The original finish was stripped down to natural & then oversprayed. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the bass looks pretty clean thanks to the oversprayed body, but still maintains a cool, vintage feel.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bullet truss rod & single disc string tree. Fender open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish - stripped & oversprayed. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. Unoriginal 3-ply white pickguard. Bass weighs 10.7 lbs.
Electronics: Original Jazz Bass single coils with black covers. Bridge - 7.57K ohms; Neck - 8.03K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls. Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
