Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age showing only honest, mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, light buckle rash & finish wear. Overall the guitar looks amazing & has that super cool, authentic vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Small frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 4 AUG 65 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Tremolo tailpiece with original arm included. Six-saddle adjustable bridge with original cover included. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & only minimal warping. The neck/body connection is very tight with no gaps. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.6 oz.
Electronics: Jazzmaster single coils with grey bottoms both dating to '65. Bridge - 7.69K ohms; Neck - 7.43K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with white "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Lead & rhythm circuit switch with dual control wheels. Pots date to '64 & '65 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original Fender no-logo hardshell case included along with the original instruction manual, original strap & keys to the case.
