Description
It was a Lead II once owned by Eric Clapton that started the now famous Hard Rock Cafe guitar collection. A fun, little rocking guitar with two single coils & a body that's slightly smaller than a Strat. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays terrific!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decals are in great shape & very clean. F-tuners & double string trees. The D tuner is slightly bent, but still functions properly. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid body finished in black. Hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.5 oz.
Electronics: Two specially designed X-1 single coil pickups, one at the neck, and the other at the bridge. Three-position pickup selector switch (neck, neck and bridge, bridge), two-position phase shift switch (in phase, out of phase) which operates only when both pickups are selected (middle position). Master volume and tone controls.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
