Description
100% original with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. These old Music Masters aren't terribly dynamic, but they sure are fun to play. This one has been professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to perform straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Multiple nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear throughout. In short - an authentic vintage beauty with a great vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear & tons of life in them. Single string tree & F-tuners in perfect working condition. The headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp dates the guitar to 1976.
Body: Solid poplar body finished in White, which has aged into more of an off-white/cream color. Top-loading bridge with three adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12.2 oz.
Electronics: Grey bottom, single coil neck pickup with black cover - 5.69K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with black knobs. Both pots & the pickup all date to '76. The volume pot is a bit worn & functions intermittently - it's fine when turned all the way up, but tends to cut out when turned down. Because it's original to the guitar, we decided to leave it alone. The tone pot functions fine as does the pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
