Description
A fabulous player's grade, true vintage Mustang with a refinished body & Lace Sensor pickups. The Blue & Gold Lace Sensors sound marvelous & deliver clear, bell-like tones that sustain wonderfully. The body was refinished quite some time ago in more of a Candy Apple Red, but does show some vintage checking & mild play wear. Overall the guitar looks & plays great thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with a cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear/blemishes. Overall the guitar looks great & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Somewhat chunky & nicely rounded maple neck with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Double string trees & F-tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp dates to APR 72.
Body: Contoured, solidbody refinished in Candy Apple Red. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard with nickel & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.4 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Fender Lace Sensor single coils (Blue in the neck & Gold in the Bridge). Master volume & tone controls (both pots date to '72). All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
