Description

100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner! This is an amazing P-Bass in a rare Blonde finish, offering exquisite tone & playability. Light weight & exceptionally resonant, delivering warm, rich tones from the split single coil pickup. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready to play straight out of the case! Absolutely marvelous & a true collector's piece for any vintage aficionado.

Cosmetic Condition: This one has the right look - perfectly aged with good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass looks fantastic with a super cool, true vintage vibe & a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Maple neck with Brazilian rosewood slab board & clay dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. The headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. Open-back nickel tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions. The pencil date on the neck is 9-22-61.

Body: Contoured, solid ash body in original rare Blonde finish! Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles & original bridge cover. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & has the original black finger rest. Bass weighs 8 lbs 0.3 oz. Light weight & very resonant!

Electronics: Split single coil with black covers - 10.75K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '61 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original instruction manual & polish cloth! Now how cool is that!
