Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with gentle play wear & naturally aged for the past four decades. The Olympic White finish has mellowed into more of a cream color with nice variegation throughout. There are various minor nicks & dings; scuff marks, surface scratches & mild blemishes here & there. Overall the bass has a wonderful look to it with a great vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Headstock decals are perfect with no bits missing. Fender open-gear tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Olympic White. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover with mute pad underneath. 3-ply black pickguard with thumb-rest. There are no cracks in the guard. Bass weighs 11.05 lbs.
Electronics: Split single coil pickup with original cover. Pickup dates to '78. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '76 & '77 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the keys, polish cloth & original hang tags.
