What makes this bass special: 100% original & in marvelous condition for its age. It's currently fitted with a tortoise pickguard & black pickup covers (which we thought looked cool), but the original white ones are included with the bass. Classic P-Bass tone coupled with a smooth playing neck make this one a sure fire winner. Thanks to a pro set up she's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Gently used with some minor nicks, dents & dings; mild surface scratches. There's some finish wear along the neck edge, but overall the bass looks very clean.
Neck: Maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear & plenty of life in them. Fender tuners in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in Olympic White. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable barrel saddles. The 4-ply tortoise pickguard is a replacement, however, the original white pickguard is included with the bass. Bass weighs 9 lbs 14.3 oz.
Electronics: Original split single coils with black covers. As with the pickguard, the original white covers are also included with the bass. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '81 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Newer Fender hardshell case included.
