Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool, authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Super comfy, maple neck with some really pretty flame figuring. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decal is in great shape with no bits missing. Open-gear tuners & round string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine. Neck stamp reads 5 APR 68 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable saddles. 4-ply tortoise pickguard & black tugbar. The pickugard is in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs a deligthful 8 lbs 4 oz & is very resonant!
Electronics: Split single coil with black covers - 10.58K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '66 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. A portion of the Fender logo is missing & there is a decal on the outside of the case.
