A silky smooth player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with some light bird's eye figuring & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender "clover" tuners & single round string tree. However, there is an extra hole in the headstock from a previous string tree. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles & original bridge cover included. Unoriginal 4-ply tortoise pickguard with tugbar. Bass weighs 8 lbs 6.2 oz.
Electronics: Split single coil with original chrome cover included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. Pots date to '74 & '75 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
