Vintage Fender Stratocaster Natural - 1979

We're sorry. This item is no longer in stock.

There's just something really cool about a natural finish Strat with a rosewood fingerboard, and this one has all the looks & charm to make it one of the nicest out there. The somewhat chunky neck feels great & plays beautifully up & down the fretboard. And the trio of single coils delivers those classic Strat tones we all love. Ready to play straight out of the case thanks to a pro set up from the gang here at Cream City Music.

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like 'em - various nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Super cool vibe overall, showing off a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Chunky profile maple neck with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Oversize headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. There is black shielding paint in the body cavity. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & trem arm included. 3-ply black pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 9 lbs even.

Electronics: Three single coils with black covers. Bridge - 5.58K ohms; Middle - 5.66K ohms; Neck - 5.59K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.

Why We Love Fender

It's hard to find a name more synonymous with guitars than Fender. Ever since Leo Fender burst onto the scene with his now-iconic Telecaster, Fender guitars have found homes in the hands of brand new guitar players and seasoned rock stars. When the headstock says Fender, you know you're getting a quality instrument.
