Description

Here's a wonderful opportunity to own a combination of new & old together in one guitar - a true vintage '77 Strat in a cool 3-tone sunburst finish that was professionally refretted (so it plays like a dream) & loaded with a set of Fender Custom Shop single coils with cloth wiring. Players are always on the hunt for really cool Custom Shop "relics", but now you've got the real deal with its own natural wear from over 40 years of play. Professionally set up & ready to hit the stage when you are.

Cosmetic Condition: Super cool, true vintage vibe with good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some natural finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck with black side-dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Professionally refretted with medium-jumbo frets in great shape with almost no wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp dates to '77.

Body: Contoured, solid ash body finished in 3-tone sunburst with that really cool vibrant red in the middle. Original tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & original trem arm included. 3-ply white pickguard & trem cover. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 8.6 oz.

Electronics: Fender Custom Shop Strat single coils with staggered poles & cloth wiring. Bridge - 6.93K ohms; Middle - 6.13K ohms; Neck - 6.37K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with newer knobs. Newer 5-way selector switch. Pots date to '77 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.

Why We Love Fender

It's hard to find a name more synonymous with guitars than Fender. Ever since Leo Fender burst onto the scene with his now-iconic Telecaster, Fender guitars have found homes in the hands of brand new guitar players and seasoned rock stars. When the headstock says Fender, you know you're getting a quality instrument.
