100% original & a dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe. The slender profile neck is silky smooth & has a tight connection with the body, which is always a plus with '70s Fenders. The pair of Wide Range humbuckers sounds fantastic & delivers rich, muscular tones with gorgeous sustain. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with a wonderful, authentic vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with black dot inlays. Small frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Fender diecast tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck dates to '73.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in black. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 1.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Wide Range humbuckers both date to '73. Bridge - 10.68K ohms; Neck - 10.73K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included. The case looks like an old 'export' case, but we're not 100% sure.
