100% original & just recently acquired from the family of the original owner. An ultra cool, true vintage beauty finished in Walnut & fitted with a pair of muscular sounding Wide Range humbuckers for tonal domination! The slender profile neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. This one's a real winner & definite must-have for any serious player or collector.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with a great vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar looks really cool & has a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile yet nicely rounded maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Fender diecast tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition. Neck dates to '73.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body in Walnut finish. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with only one tiny chip near the treble side of the neck. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.5 oz. Great weight & very resonant!
Electronics: Original Fender Wide Range humbuckers with embossed covers. Both pickups date to '74. Bridge - 10.58K ohms; Neck - 10.34K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '73 & '74. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
