Description
What makes this guitar special: These don't come up very often, but when they do they tend not to last very long. This gorgeous Wildwood III is 100% original & in wonderful shape for its age. The guitar produces a warm, rich tone & the neck is silky smooth to play. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really great shape for being 50 years old - various minor nicks, dents & dings; scratches, scuff marks & some mild weather checking. Overall the guitar looks beautiful & shows off a nice patina.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Headstock decals are in great shape with no bits missing. Single string tree & F-tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Dreadnought size body with 5-ply binding on the top & back. Solid spruce top with multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with cream end-pins & six adjustable "barrel" saddles. 4-ply gold pickguard Beech back & sides with some nice orange streaks. Guitar weighs an even 6 lbs & there is no pickup.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The bottom latch is missing, but the case is in otherwise great shape.
