Description
Made for only a brief moment in the early to mid '80s, this ultra cool F-100 features a pair of dynamic sounding Magnetic Field Design humbuckers with a 3-way toggle plus two mini phase switches that throw the pickups into a combination out-of-phase middle position. This Series II version has a 7.25" fingerboard radius, and thanks to a pro set up by us the guitar plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an authentic vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar looks great with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with some light figuring & black dot inlays. Original small frets show a tiny bit of wear, but still have life in them. Bullet truss rod & nickel Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid poplar body finished in white. The white finish has aged nicely over the years into more of an off-white/cream color. G&L tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & nickel hardware. Unfortunately the original trem arm is missing, however, we found a suitable replacement that works great. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 0.5 oz.
Electronics: Dual Magnetic Field Design humbuckers. 3-way toggle switch plus two mini toggles for phase switching. Pots date to '81 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
