Description
An excellent player's grade Les Paul Custom with the Twentieth Anniversary fingerboard inlay in the fifteenth fret. The neck was reshaped down to a super skinny profile & then refinished. Thickness at the first fret is now about .65" & about .85" at the twelfth. So if you like that really thin, flat feeling Jimmy Page profile, this is the guitar for you! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The back of the neck is clean, however, due to the refin. Overall the guitar has a really cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Super slender mahogany neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Professionally refretted & the frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Schaller diecast tuners & Les Paul Custom truss rod cover. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. 7-ply top binding & 5-ply back binding. Stopbar tailpiece with Gotoh ABR-1 bridge & gold hardware. Unoriginal 3-ply black pickguard. There's an extra hole in the side of the body for the pickguard bracket. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 8.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson T-Tops with missing covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. Newer CTS pots & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. A bit tattered on the outside, but still solid.
