A nice player with a gorgeous voice - bright & punchy sounding with a ringing chime. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a crack in the top of the body, treble-side, lower bout that was professionally glued & cleated. Overall the guitar has an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Wide profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 2" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 3-ply binding. Chrome trapeze tailpiece & rosewood bridge with adjustable saddle. Single-ply tortoise pickguard screwed to the top & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 13.7 oz.
