Description
A great playing, true vintage Country Western with a gorgeous voice that rings out with lots of power & punch. Despite its less than perfect appearance, the guitar still maintains an ultra cool vibe & thanks to a pro set up from the folks here at Cream City Music, it will arrive at your door ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for a guitar over 50 years old - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a number of top cracks that were professionally repaired & the guitar was eventually oversprayed. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with minimal wear & tons of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are a little stiff to turn, but do function. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with solid spruce top & 7-ply binding. Rosewood bridge & end pins with mother of pearl dot inlays. Large tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany sides & back with 5-ply binding & black center strip. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 10.2 oz.
Electronics: After-market, active under-saddle pickup with master volume control.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
