Description
What makes this bass special: A nice player's grade EB-1 thanks to the addition of the unoriginal DiMarzio humbucker & split-coil tone pot. A cool looking bass that offers some really funky tones.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a cool look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Violin-shaped solid mahogany body. Top-loading bridge with adjustable brass saddles & original bridge cover included. Original pickguard is included, but not mounted due to the unoriginal bridge pickup being in the way. Bass weighs 9 lbs 15.3 oz. & includes its original stem which screws into the bottom of the body so you can play it like an upright.
Electronics: Original neck humbucker & unoriginal DiMarzio bridge humbucker. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. The tone knob is push/pull for coil tapping the bridge pickup. Unoriginal mini toggle switch. The volume pot is original, but the tone pot of course isn't. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
