Description

Marvelous condition for its age with a bright natural acoustic tone that resonates exceptionally well. Plug it in & the guitar immediately jumps! The warm, rich P-90 sounds amazing with a strong output of 8.03K ohms, and thanks to a pro set up the guitar plays like a dream!

Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being over 70 years old! Gently used with typical light play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & mild weather checking. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, well-cared for look to it with a gorgeous patina.

Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear. Newer Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Double-bound hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with compensated wooden bridge & newer tortoise pickguard. A small section of the tailpiece needed to be braised & was done professionally. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 0.4oz.

Electronics: Original "dog ear" P-90 single coil neck pickup - 8.03K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "barrel" knobs. Unoriginal pots & knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Newer Gibson hardshell case included.
