Description
A superb playing Gibson ES-175D in sunburst finish, featuring a pair of creamy sounding Pat No sticker humbuckers that deliver warm, rich tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds like a champ!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being over 50 years old - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & weather checking. Pickguard is missing, but overall the guitar looks wonderful & has a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with Florentine cutaway & dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge on a floating rosewood base. Again, the pickguard is missing & the guitar weighs 6 lbs 7.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Both pickups have the black Pat No sticker underneath them. Bridge - 8.02K ohms; Neck - 7.78K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
