A true vintage beauty & in great shape for its age. The sunburst finish looks marvelous over some pretty bird's eye figuring in the body. The slender profile neck is very comfortable to play up & down the fretboard. The guitar has a natural, woody acoustic resonance, but when plugged in the double humbuckers offer warm, rich tones.
Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with signs of typical, mild play wear considering its age - various little nicks, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. The guitar has a great vibe to it with an authentic vintage look & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with double-ring Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Chrome trapeze tailpiece & compensated rosewood bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. 3-ply top binding & single ply back binding. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 9.5 oz.
Electronics: Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels & 3-way toggle switch. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Guild hardshell case included.
