Just recently acquired from the son of the original owner, a super cool thin hollowbody with an absolutely wonderful, rich acoustic tone. This gorgeous, true vintage ES-330 resonates beautifully & the slender profile neck is so easy & comfortable to play, especially for hours one end. Finished in classic sunburst, she looks & feels great! Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Very clean for its age with only mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & very mild weather checking. There's a 2 under the serial number on the back of the headstock, indicating the guitar was a factory second. However, there are no issues structurally or eletronically. Overall the guitar has a marvelous look to it with a really cool vibe.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. There's some light flame figuring in the back of the neck. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Some light bird's eye figuring can be detected in the top. Trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. Only the endpin screw is inserted in the bottom of the tailpiece. The two upper screws were never drilled into the body. 5-ply black pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 0.3 oz. Very light weight & exceptionall y resonant with a beautiful natural acoustic tone.
Pickups: Original P-90 single coils with chrome covers. Bridge - 7.40K ohms; Neck - 7.96K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Original Gibson hardshell case included. The handle is broken on one side.
