Description
An absolutely gorgeous, true vintage Gibson ES-330TDC offering unrivaled tone & playability. The fully hollow thinline body is incredibly resonant & projects a warm, rich voice even before being plugged in. The natural acousticness sounds marvelous & combined with the pair of creamy sounding P-90s & you've got a sure fire winner. The previous owner swapped out all the original hardware for gold, but aside from that the guitar is original. Professionally inspected & set up by the expert here at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an ultra cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Wide, flatter profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal gold vintage-style tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, fully hollow, maple body with dual F-holes. Unoriginal trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs a delightful 5 lbs 10.6 oz.
Electronics: Original P-90 single coils with black "dog ear" covers & unoriginal gold pole pieces. Bridge - 8.15K ohms; Neck - 7.97K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. One of the tone knobs says volume in the insert, so not completely original, but all electronics are fully functioning.
Case: Unoriginal, vintage hardshell case included.
