Description
A dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! The classic Cherry finish is still quite strong & vibrant. The slender profile neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. The double Pat No. humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver warm, rich tones. The Bigsby tremolo is a great after-market addition & functions perfectly. Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being over 50 years old with signs of typical, mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some light weather checking. There's a very tiny gap at the base of the neck heel where it joins the body, but the connection is tight & there is no movement. There is a small crack inside the neck pickup cavity with a wooden dowel next to it. Whatever happened to the guitar, it has been properly corrected & there are no issues with playability or sound quality. Overall the guitar looks good & has a comfortable feel to it.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with double-ring Keystone buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.86K ohms; Neck - 7.76K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
