Description

An absolutely fabulous "transition" ES-335TD, featuring the more desirable wider nut width. Superbly resonant with a muscular tone thanks to the pair of incredible sounding Pat No. humbuckers. This gorgeous guitar looks, plays, sounds & feels amazing! Even before plugging it in, it rings like a bell & sustains for days. This is a real winner folks & a definite keeper for any player or aficionado. Only the tuners & nut are unoriginal - all else is factory stock. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so you're guaranteed to be getting the real deal!

Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe - just the way we like it: various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish blemishes/wear. No headstock cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar looks marvelous & shows off a beautiful patina.

Neck: Super comfy rounded profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear & plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. Unoriginal nut has a width of 1 11/16". However, the original nut is included with the guitar & has the same width. 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.

Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The sunburst finish has aged beautifully over the years into more of an Ice Tea finish & looks absolutely marvelous. Original trapeze tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. 3-ply black pickguard has the typical curving which occurs over time, but is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 6.5 oz.

Electronics: Original Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 8.28K ohms; Neck - 7.75K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included. The case shows some wear & tear, but all the latches are there as is the handle.
