Description
100% original & a superb player thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music. This gorgeous semi-hollow body guitar exudes all the charm & sophistication we've come to admire about the ES-335. The slender profile neck is exceptionally comfy & the double humbuckers kick out rich, dynamic tones. You won't be disappointed with this late '70s beauty!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, and in really great shape considering its age - various tiny nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Minor chipping around the bass-side stopbar post. There are two small screw holes in the top on either side of the bridge from a previous Roland pickup. The guitar is stamped Second in the back of the headstock, indicating it was a factory second, but there are no issues structurally or electronically. Overall the guitar is really nice & has a wonderful, vintage feel to it.
Neck: Three-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a tiny bit of wear, but have tons of life in them. Gibson-embossed tuners with nickel Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & nickel/chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.9 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels & chrome covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
