Made for a short period from about the mid to late '80s, the Invader is the perfect Gibson budget-grade electric. This particular version features a Gibson tremolo which wasn't very typical & rather unique. A pair of zebra Sonex 180 Deluxe humbuckers kick out some rich, voluptuous tones & the slender maple neck is silky smooth to play. Delivered to your door with a pro set up.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Gibson diecast tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Gibson tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 14 oz.
Electronics: Gibson Sonex 180 Deluxe "zebra" humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.75K ohms; Neck - 7.99K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. One latch is missing & there a some decals on the outside of the case, but overall it's in great shape.
