Description
Gibson introduced the square shoulder J-50 in '69 & it's every bit as warm & rich sounding as the more familiar slope shoulders. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, true vintage look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in good working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 3-ply binding. Rosewood bridge & adjustable saddle. Unoriginal black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides with single-ply binding. Guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.1 oz.
Case: Hardshell case included.
