Made for only a brief moment back in the '90s, this super cool J-60 square shoulder dreadnought features a solid spruce top with Indian rosewood for the back & sides. The V-shaped mahogany neck is exceptionally comfortable & the vintage-style script headstock inlay rounds out the package nicely. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for a 30-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear with light touch-ups on the top. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & is very vibey.
Neck: V-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & pearloid side-dots. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear. Rosewood headstock veneer with mother of pearl script Gibson inlay. Gold Schaller tuners stamped Made In W. Germany. 1 11/16" nut width; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, square shoulder dreadnought in natural high-gloss finish. Solid spruce top with tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with compensated saddle. Ebony bridge pins with mother of pearl dot inlays. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides. There is an output jack/strap button, but there are no electronics in the guitar. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 2.5 oz.
