A marvelous player's grade L-48 that's been fitted with a vintage P-13. Exquisite tone & superb feel from this true vintage beauty! Professionally set up & ready perform upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a few back cracks that were glued & do not penetrate all the way through. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Sporting that perfectly sculpted '59 mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow body with dual F-holes. Mahogany top & sides with arched maple back. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with floating rosewood bridge. Pickguard is missing & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 8.9 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal, vintage Gibson P-13 single coil pickup with nickel cover & tortoise bezel. Master volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage Gibson chipboard case included. The case sustained some water damage at the bottom & is a bit warped, but still functions properly.
