Description

100% original & a superb playing Les Paul Custom. The gold hardware coupled with the ebony finish makes for a classic combination. The double humbuckers sound amazing & deliver rich, robust tones. The neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream anywhere on the fretboard. Fully inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so the guitar is ready to perform straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with that perfect vintage look - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, buckle rash & some tarnish on the hardware. There is a 2 pressed into the back of the headstock indicating the guitar was a factory second. However, there are no issues structurally or electronically, Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Three-piece mahogany neck with volute. Nicely aged cream bidning with tortoise side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Small frets show a tiny bit of wear & have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Kluson Deluxe "waffle back" tuners. The G & D tuners are slightly bent, but still function properly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with maple top. Multi-layer top & back binding with 5-ply black pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 3-ply black jackplate & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 14.8 lbs.

Electronics: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with black bezels & gold covers. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '70 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included.
