A badass looking Custom with superb tone. The slender maple neck is silky smooth & thanks to a pro refret with bigger frets, the playability is perfect. Of course the pair of muscular sounding Pat No humbuckers provides the warm, rich tones these iconic solid bodies are known for. Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused & in pretty good shape for its age actually - some minor nicks, dents & dings; various surface scratches & mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a cool vintage vibe to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Professionally refretted with medium jumbo frets showing no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Gibson diecast tuners are in perfect working condition, however, different tuners were on the guitar at one point. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. Multi-layer binding on the top & back. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. 3-ply black pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 11 lbs - she's a hefty one!
Electronics: Gibson Pat Number humbuckers with black bezels. There's a small crack in the neck bezel. Bridge - 7.39K ohms; Neck - 7.41K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
