Description

A cool player's grade '70s Les Paul Custom at a super affordable price. The body was rounded & refinished. The fingerboard was replaced & refretted. The pickups are newer Di Marzios & a middle one was added along with newer pots. Despite all the mods, the guitar still maintains a nice vibe & has a great feel to it. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition overall - some minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches.

Neck: Original mahogany neck with volute. Unoriginal rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Unoriginal medium-jumbo frets are in great shape with no wear. Original headstock with unoriginal Grover Rotomatic tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Not sure what period the fingerboard is from, but it does not appear to be Brazilian rosewood.

Body: Solid mahogany body & maple top with the edges rounded & completely refinished. Unoriginal Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. There is no pickguard & the guitar weighs 9 lbs 4 oz.

Electronics: Three unoriginal DiMarzio humbuckers with gold covers & cream bezels. The body was routed for the middle pickup as this was originally a dual humbucker Custom. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. 3-way toggle with & unoriginal pots. All electronics are in perfect working condition.

Case: Later-period Gibson hardshell case included - a little beat up with a couple of missing latches, but in good shape overall.
