Popularized by Adam Jones of Tool, this is an authentic, true vintage 1983 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Silverburst finish. 100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner. Super cool vibe & a dynamite player thanks to a pro set up from the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: A bit of the finish has flaked off along the edges of the headstock. Throughout the rest of the guitar there are various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches & light buckle rash. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlay. Gibson diecast tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap. Multi-bound top & back with 5-ply black pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 8.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.60K ohms; Neck - 7.69K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date from '80 to '82 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
