A fabulous Deluxe model in a truly gorgeous natural finish. Featuring a pair of hefty sounding mini humbuckers that produce rich, meaty tones. Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The guitar was previously fitted with a Bigsby as evidenced by the additional screw holes in the top & bottom of the body. The natural finish as aged beautifully over the years & mellowed into more of a caramel color. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile, 3-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets that show no wear. Original Gibson-embossed nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with plain maple top & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard & metal jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 5.1 oz.
Electronics: Dual mini humbuckers with cream bezels. The neck pickup is mounted to its original bracket inside the cavity, but the bridge pickup is mounted directly to the body with wood dowels underneath. However, the original bracket is included with the guitar. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '78 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included. One of the bottom latches is missing.
