An excellent player's grade Junior due to a complete refin that was done quite some time ago. Thankfully the original serial number was spared! Featuring that classic beefy neck & powerhouse P-90 for exquisite tone, this true vintage beauty is a real rock n roller, ready to hit the stage straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of weather checking & the finish is flaking in various spots. Surface scratches with little nicks & dings here & there. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Repro tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Single cutaway, solid, one-piece mahogany body. Unoriginal wrap-around tailpiece. Original single-ply black pickguard & back control cover. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 5.7 oz.
Electronics: Original P-90 single coil with black "dog ear" cover - 8.25K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with original gold "top hat" knobs. Original pots & caps. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Later-period Gibson hardshell case included.
