Description
Authentic vintage vibe & a superb player finished in a gorgeous Wine Red. The double humbuckers sound terrific & kick out rich, robust tones. The slender profile neck is very comfortable & plays nicely anywhere on the fretboard. Fully inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so the guitar is ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear (particularly around the control knobs). Overall the guitar looks great & has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Professionally refretted & the frets show a bit of wear with plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Schaller diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with plain maple top & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard & metal jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 10.5 oz.
Electronics: Vintage Seymour Duncan bridge humbucker & Gibson Pat No neck humbucker dated Jan 25 1980. Dual volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. The bridge tone control is push/pull & splits the bridge humbucker only. Pots date to '79 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
