Description

A dynamite player's grade Melody Maker finished in an original & super cool Cardinal Red. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.

Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal, newer Kluson Deluxe tuners with white buttons. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.

Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body with single-ply black pickguard. Unoriginal Leo Quan wrap-around bridge with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 2.8 oz.

Electronics: Unoriginal Seymour Duncan neck & Bill Lawrence bridge single coils with 3-way toggle switch. Both pickup routes were opened & deepened a bit for the unoriginal pickups. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots date to '65 & all electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
