An ultra cool double pickup Melody Maker finished in original Pelham Blue that has aged nicely into green over the years. A true vintage beauty with a great vibe, featuring a silky smooth neck & sweet, sexy tone. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a small crack in the body near the out jack that was professionally glued & is stable. Overall the guitar has an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Professionally refretted & frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with cream buttons. The G tuner is slightly bent, but still functions properly. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions perfectly.
Body: SG-style, solid mahogany body finished in Pelham Blue. The original tremolo tailpiece & bridge were removed & replaced with a modern wrap-around style with adjustable saddles. Single-ply cream pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 1 oz.
Electronics: Dual Melody Maker single coils with white covers & 3-way selector switch. Dual volume & tone controls with newer black "top hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
