Description
A dynamite SG Standard with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! The slender profile neck is silky smooth & plays great up & down the fretboard. The double Pat No. humbuckers sound fantastic & deliver rich, creamy tones. Professionally set up so it's ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots.
Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Grover Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with 5-ply, large black pickguard. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. Maestro tremolo with engraved Gibson & Lyre. ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. The guitar previously had a stopbar tailpiece, hence the two black plugs on either side of the Maestro. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 0.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Gibson Pat Number humbuckers. Bridge - 7.10K ohms; Neck - 7.31K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All of the pot codes are obscured by the solder points, but all the electronics appear to be original & everything is in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included, however, three of the four latches are missing.
