Description
What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in marvelous condition for its age. A superb player with a silky smooth neck & fitted with a pair of Gibson humbuckers that kick out rich, creamy tones. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so you know you're getting the best!
Cosmetic Condition: Wonderful shape for being made in '73. There is some minor wear however - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & pick wear. There's some very minuscule finish chipping/chatter marks on either side of the neck near the nut. This is purely superficial & cosmetic & not cracks in the wood. Overall the guitar looks great & has a really clean vibe.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Sealed Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Original Gibson-engraved Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with adjustable "harmonica" bridge. 5-ply small black pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.6 oz.
Electronics: Gibson humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.54K ohms; Neck - 5.49. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
