What makes this guitar special: 100% original & super clean for being over 40 years old. The Walnut finish still look fantastic after all these years & has hardly aged at all. The double humbuckers sound amazing & deliver rich, dynamic tones. Professionally inspected & set up so it's ready to perform upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Some very minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. Overall the guitar is really clean & looks marvelous. You'd never guess it's a true vintage guitar.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Stopbar tailpiece & "harmonica" bridge with adjustable saddles. 5-ply small black pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 7.7 oz.
Electronics: Double humbuckers with chrome covers & black bezels. Bridge - 7.49K ohms; Neck - 5.24: ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. The switch cap was whittled into a shape resembling something like a chess piece. Pots date to '75 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
